Coaching

What to expect when we work together

I work with people who are done performing and ready to practice radical agency, relational integrity, and internal coherence. Together, we break the patterns that keep you disconnected and build the relationships you actually want.

For the Visitor Becoming a Crafter

You've been warming yourself by other people's fires for too long. You're curious about the work, tired of surface connection, and ready to stop observing and start forging. Let's build your Anvil.

For the Crafter Working Alone

You're already doing the work: pattern recognition, unlearning, boundary setting. But you're doing it in isolation. You need a Co-Smith: someone to hold the mirror, call the patterns, and sit in the fire with you.

For Those Carrying Unforged Pain

The ache needs to be honored to move. The grief needs a container. The shame needs to be metabolized, not buried. Your pain is the fuel. Let's turn it into clarity.

The Five Components of The Forge

Coaching with me follows a framework I call The Forge: a metallurgical metaphor for personal transformation. Here's what the journey looks like:

🔥 Fire: Confronting the Pain

We start with what brought you here. The ache. The loss. The longing. The shame. We use your pain as fuel. We name what needs to change and why it matters.

⚙️ Steel: Understanding Your Patterns

You are the raw material. We examine the grooves in your steel: the automatic behaviors, protections, and patterns your nervous system learned to survive. Pattern recognition. Disillusionment. Unlearning. This is where insight meets embodiment.

🔨 Anvil: Building Structure

The Anvil is your functional infrastructure: the frameworks (schematics) and self-authored rules (intentions) that hold you accountable when your biology fails you. We build your Anvil together: the principles you hold, the boundaries that keep your shape, the practices that regulate your system.

❄️ Quench: Locking in Change

Hot steel is soft. To hold form, it must cool. The Quench is deliberate rest: the consolidation phase where new neural pathways stabilize. We reflect, inspect what held, and prepare for the next cycle. Rest is biology.

🏡 Hearth: Sanctuary and Connection

The Hearth has two roles: Inner Hearth (your sanctuary when the work becomes too much) and Outer Hearth (where you learn to love others without dragging them into your forge). Not everyone belongs at your Anvil. We map who goes where.

Together, we identify your Fire, map your Steel, design your Forge, build your Anvil, find your rituals and your leverage, create your Quench process, and learn your Hearth. Then, as moments arise, we analyze them: where could we have forged a better outcome? What would that work have looked like? We build structure for how you show up next time.

The Process

Where We Start

A 15-30 minute introduction call to see if we're the right fit and understand what you're working toward.

Format

One-on-one coaching sessions via video call. We meet where you are and work toward where you want to go.

Sessions

60 minute conversations focused on breaking patterns, building relational integrity, and turning insight into practice.

Between Sessions: You'll have practices: somatic exercises, pattern tracking prompts, boundary experiments, integration work. The Forge happens in the moments between our calls.

Frequency

Your rhythm, your forge. Cadence shifts with your needs: weekly when you're breaking ground, monthly when you're maintaining momentum. We work when it serves the work, not on a rigid schedule.

Investment

$125 per session.

Commitment

I work with people who are ready to do the work. If you're here for accountability, honesty, and real change, let's talk.

Coaching and Therapy

I am not a licensed therapist. Licensed therapists (LPCs, LCSWs, LMFTs, psychologists) hold advanced degrees, complete thousands of supervised clinical hours, pass state licensing exams, and are trained to diagnose and treat mental health conditions and emotional disorders. Therapists help clients process emotions, explore underlying patterns, and work through trauma, often using talk therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and other evidence-based modalities. If you need clinical support for mental health conditions, trauma processing, or psychological care, I will encourage you to work with a licensed professional.

What I offer is different. I serve as a Co-Smith: someone who stands at the Anvil with you. Where therapy helps you process and understand, coaching helps you build and practice. I provide direct guidance on constructing your Anvil (your functional infrastructure), calling out patterns as they emerge, pointing to opportunities to unlearn old behaviors, recommending specific actions based on your goals, coaching you on when to Quench versus when to rest at the Hearth, helping you integrate changes into your nervous system, identifying when you could have leveraged your governance gap, and offering honest feedback and accountability.

Therapists reflect. I advise, challenge, and forge alongside you. This is practice-based work: turning awareness into embodied change through structure, repetition, and accountability.
